Bernadett Reyes, the owner of BCC, will be the first one personally visiting your loved one in order to get to know them before assigning the BCC caregiver that best fits your loved one’s needs. She is dedicated to matching the right caregiver to ensure your loved one receives the best care. And you have a say in who your BCC caregiver will be. Too many family members and their loved ones go through the stress and disappointment of having too many different caregivers each day in and out of their home, and don’t know who to expect the next day, and having to explain the same routine every single day. Not with BCC. Berni will also set up a back-up BCC caregiver, when needed, who will also know the needs and wants of the client. Once BCC establishes an In Home Care plan for your loved one, BCC will be sure that the plan is carried out to your specifications including, but not limited to, every day medication reminders, meal preparation, help getting in and out of bed, ensuring good and proper hygiene, light house cleaning, mopping, sanitizing, running errands, grocery shopping. taking them to Doctor’s appointments, salons, and providing companionship, mental stimulation, and activities such as games and walking, etc. The In Home Care plan can also be adjusted, as we go, to your loved one’s needs and wants.

BERNI’S COMPASSIONATE CARE - ABOUT US AND WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT
Berni’s Compassionate Care is more than just compassionate care. Bernadett Reyes (Berni)
herself has seen and experienced the worst care that her late Mother went through. So after
Berni saw that her Mother was not getting the care she needed, Berni decided to care for her
Mother on her own. When her Mother passed away, Berni decided to get into performing
caregiving to others. While working as a caregiver, she learned that caregiving is more than just
a job. She developed a deep love and passion inside of her for each and every patient she cared
for, even though they all have different needs. This is where and when Berni learned how to be
compassionate and perform the unique services that BCC offers which sets us apart from other
caregiving companies. We call it “The Berni Way”.
Berni’s Compassionate Care (BCC) is a small company where we handpick the best caregivers,
trained The Berni Way because at BCC we know many family members and their loved ones go
through stress and disappointment by having too many different caregivers on different days in
and out there home, or don’t know who to expect the next day, and having to explain the same
routine every single day. Our desires and goals are to provide the best care your loved one
deserves. Berni, as the owner of her company, will be the first one visiting you and your loved
one in order to get to know you before assigning any caregivers, as she wants to assign the right
caregiver that fits your loved one’s needs. Berni will assign one main caregiver. Once we start
services the family and their loved one can assess how the caregiver is performing and as long
as they are happy and think the caregiver is providing the proper service for their loved one no
changes will be made. If you do not like the caregiver, BCC is happy to discuss any issues with
you and appoint a new caregiver to meet your needs with no problem. Your needs and wants
are the most important part of our services to you, another item we are compassionate about.
Depending on your days and hours needed, which will be discussed and scheduled with you at
our first meeting, we may need to involve a backup or 2 nd caregiver for your loved one. This will
be the same process as the assigned main caregiver.
What is The Berni Way ? BCC will assist your loved ones with their everyday medication
reminders, meals preparation as needed, help getting in and out of bed, dressing, proper
hygiene, light house cleaning, mopping, sanitizing, running errands, grocery shopping, taking
them to Doctor’s appointment, and salons, companionship, listening, and stimulation of the
mind, as well as activities such as games and walking, among others. We are very flexible to
where we can add any other specific need you would like done. Unlike other companies, there
are no add on charges. These are items we feel should be done as part of our overall services
and your experience and expectations.

The letters BCC stand for Berni’s Compassionate Care. Compassionate is not just a word. It is a state of being in our caregivers. It is the deep-down core feeling of empathy and the learning and understanding of others needs and wants, and wanting to help clients and families with the caregiving of their loved ones.
The Butterfly resting on the B symbolizes hope, adaptation, and the significance of small actions. This means that when we perform our services we give hope and comfort, and that even the littlest things we do can have a profound impact on our clients in how they feel and live their lives. We are also versatile in our services and can adapt to the changing needs of our clients.
The Heart in the middle of the second C stands for love, joy, and positive emotions. These are core values that our caregivers bring to clients and their loved ones when we perform our caregiving services. By listening to our clients we develop love and joy and instill positive emotions in them to carry them through the day.
The Tree spreading it’s warmth over the entire logo stands for family, respect, and strong
bonds, which we develop with clients and their loved ones in the course of performing our
caregiving services. Family and friends are important to the well-being and the positive
emotional state of our clients and their loved ones. Respect is what everyone deserves no
matter what their physical and emotional condition is.
